Yafit Riklin
Fortunately, creation has always been my natural path, allowing me to grow. The works express my personal development and its reflection on my environment.
I am a prisoner of processes and attentive to steps. Addicted to insights and excited by discoveries. In my works, I combine human touch and advanced technologies, in a changing mix, while translating an idea into reality.
Over two decades, in my work with designers, architects and entrepreneurial companies, I have gained diverse experience in creating visual languages and applying them in a wide range of materials, while emphasizing the practical response as well as my art.

Motiva Art
My Motiva, ‘Through the Illusion‘ is deeply connected to how I see the world. The main idea is like a wing, which represents each individual. I was fascinated to learn that dragonflies form a heart shape when they mate. This ties in with my belief that the whole world is greater than just its parts and that we should always listen to our hearts.
The dragonfly theme in this work is more than just a picture; it’s full of deeper meanings. I like to think of the dragonfly as being able to see beyond just the surface of things. The different colors and types of dragonflies I use show the variety in life, just like my pencil drawings show a range of tones from black to white.
This work makes me think about how there’s so much more to the world than what we can see, and how much there is still to learn. It’s a way for me to stay connected to the present. Also, as a secular Jew, I’ve included references from the Tanach to express universal and timeless values in my art.
The Uri Geller Museum
Yafit Riklin explores the concept of time in her work "Past-Present-Future", exhibited at the Uri Geller Museum. The piece consists of a stunning circle of light that expresses the flow of time through three dimensions that interweave to create a unique artistic whole.
The past is presented as an infinite, amorphous entity, representing the accumulating historical layers that merge into one another. The present is expressed through a symmetrical illuminated circle, in which perforations gradually expand in synergy, reflecting the dynamism and constant change of the current moment. The future is illustrated through separate wings moving through space — each one an autonomous unit, yet together they create a breathtaking harmony.
The work also serves as a platform for an innovative light project, in which creators from various disciplines participate, enriching the piece with diverse interpretations and perspectives. Through this project, Riklin emphasizes the constant transition between unity and dissolution and back to harmony, while creating an ongoing dialogue between the individual and the collective, between past and present, and between the tangible and the abstract.
The Dragonfly Concept
The Dragonfly is more than a symbol — it is a philosophy of presence.
In Riklin’s installation “The Dragonfly”, the wings represent the power of the individual and the ripple effect of one’s presence within the circles that surround us. Rooted in awareness of the present moment, the dragonfly embodies clarity, lightness, precision, and transformation.
Its architectural wings echo structural lines found in contemporary design, while its delicate geometry reflects strength within refinement.
The Dragonfly is an energetic anchor — a carrier of movement and memory.
Revelation emerges. Presence is etched into form.
